Dr. John Senatore: Skilled and Accomplished Podiatrist
John R. Senatore is a Baltimore Maryland Podiatrist, with special interests in Sports Medicine and Biomechanics. He graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1983 then completed his surgical residency program here in Baltimore Maryland.
After completing his surgical training, he joined the medical staff at Union Memorial Hospital. Dr. Senatore became Chief of Podiatry Services in 1990 and still holds that position today.
Dr. Senatore has an avid interest in sports medicine and joined the Union Memorial’s Sports Medicine Center as their only Podiatrist. Dr. Senatore has completed several dozen long races including 1/2 Marathons and full Marathons (Boston). He still runs on a regular basis. He was the founder of Biomechanical Resources Inc. that manufactured orthoses for professional as well as amateur athletes.
Dr. Senatore is a renowned lecturer on a wide variety of topics including running injuries, Biomechanics of the foot and ankle, and limb salvage procedures in the Diabetic population.
Dr. Senatore was voted one of Baltimore’s “Top Doctors” by his peers as listed in BaltimoreMagazine.
